Hello, a world of Complex Systems, Products, and Organizations!
I am a postdoctoral researcher in CentraleSupélec (Gif-sur-Yvette, France). My research interests include systems engineering; decision-making support in early-stage system architecture development, enabled by model-based approaches and generative artificial intelligence; and human systems integration.
Prior to joining CentraleSupélec, I worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in Grenoble INP (Grenoble, France). In that capacity for 3+ years I led systems engineering initiative in Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD) bringing systems engineering and MBSE to innovation and new product development of portfolio of drug-device combination products.
The selected publications of my work can be found in the Handbook of Model-Based Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering Journal, and Proceedings of the DESIGN Society. The full list of publications is available in the corresponding page of this website.
I have the Associate Professor Qualification (Section 60) issued by the Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de l'Espace on February 2024. I co-instructed the Model-Based Systems Engineering Class at Grenoble INP. Prior to this, I co-instructed the Space Sector Course being its Teaching Assistant, and later - a Lecturer on the topics of System Architecture, System Thinking, and Interface Management. I also taught classes at System Engineering course at Skoltech.
I earned my PhD in Engineering Systems from Skoltech in 2020 (PhD Thesis Supervisor - Prof. Edward Crawley, MIT). In 2016-2017 I was working as a visiting doctoral candidate at MIT developing the case studies for my PhD Thesis in System Architecture Group. Prior to this, I received the Specialist’s degree in Physics of Metals (equivalent to a M.Sc. in the U.S. or Diplôme d'Ingénieur in France) from the Department of Theoretical Physics and Quantum Technologies in MISIS. I also graduated from Singularity University (NASA Ames Research Center, Silicon Valley, USA).
I am a Member of the DESIGN Society, IFIP WG 5.1 (Global Product development for the whole life-cycle), the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), as well as AFIS (Association Française d'Ingénierie Système).
