Hello, a world of Complex Systems, Products, and Organizations!
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Grenoble INP. My research interests include systems engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE), systems architecture methods to support decision-making process, and engineering management of complex systems. I’m also exploring the human-systems integration, as my experience shows that technical dimensions of product development should be interwoven with social aspects.
Since 2022 I’ve been leading Systems Engineering Initiative closely partnering with the MedTech industry world leader focusing on the MedTech-Pharma innovative combination products. In this capacity, I’ve been implementing digital engineering approach by means of systems engineering methods and MBSE software customization – all for a portfolio of innovative MedTech-Pharma products.
The selected publications of my work can be found in the Handbook of Model-Based Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering Journal, and Proceedings of the DESIGN Society. The full list of publications is available in the corresponding page of this website.
I have the Associate Professor Qualification (Section 60) issued by the Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de l'Espace on February 2024. I co-instruct the Model-Based Systems Engineering Class at Grenoble INP. Prior to this, I co-instructed the Space Sector Course being its Teaching Assistant, and later - a Lecturer on the topics of System Architecture, System Thinking, and Interface Management. I also taught classes at System Engineering course at Skoltech.
My PhD Thesis in Engineering Systems was defended at Skoltech in 2020 (PhD Thesis Supervisor - Prof. Edward Crawley, MIT). In 2016-2017 I was working as a visiting doctoral candidate at MIT developing the case studies for my PhD Thesis in System Architecture Group. Prior to this, I received the Specialist’s degree (M.Sc. degree equivalent) from the Department of Theoretical Physics and Quantum Technologies in MISIS and also graduated from Singularity University - this was an amazing experience at NASA Ames Research Center in the heart of Silicon Valley.
I am a Member of the DESIGN Society, IFIP WG 5.1 (Global Product development for the whole life-cycle), the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), as well as AFIS (Association Française d'Ingénierie Système).
