The 20th International DSM Conference

10/20/2018

The DSM Community has gathered together for the annual Conference to share the latest results of the Design Structure Matrix applications in industries, entrepreneurial ventures, and academia. The Conference took place in Trieste where we also visited a manufacturing site of Illy, an Italian coffee company specializing in espresso and headquartered in Trieste. It was very interesting to see the manufacturing line and entire coffee product lifecycle.
Within the Conference I have presented a paper entitled "DSM-Based Methods to Represent Specialization Relationships in a Concept Framework" co-authored with Prof. Edward Crawley. The paper is available at MIT System Architecture Group website.
